Who Is Srikanth? Tamil-Telugu Actor Arrested After Drug Test Turns Positive

Tamil-Telugu actor Srikanth, also known as Sriram, has been arrested by the Chennai Police in a drugs case. He was taken into custody after he was found to be consuming drugs after testing positive and following suspicious transactions found on his mobile.

On Monday morning, Srikanth was called for questioning by the Anti-Narcotics Intelligence Unit (ANIU). During the interrogation, he reportedly admitted that he had purchased cocaine around 40 times, costing Rs 12,000 per gram. The investigation also revealed that he spent a total of Rs 4.72 lakh on drug purchases through Google Pay.

His blood test conducted at a government hospital also confirmed the presence of narcotics. Based on medical reports and financial evidence, he was arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

The case initially came to light when Prasad, a former AIADMK IT wing member, was arrested after a fight in a pub in Nungambakkam. During interrogation, he named Srikanth as a regular customer. Another person Pradeep also testified that he had seen Srikanth taking drugs in many club parties and said that Prasad used to supply drugs.
