Man Slits Girlfriend’s Throat In front Of Her Father After Argument, Arrested News24 –

In a shocking incident, a woman was killed by her boyfriend in front of her father on Monday. The case is reported from Eastern West Khasi Hills in Meghalaya and the accused, a 25-year-old man has been arrested. The accused reportedly killed his girlfriend by slitting her throat.

A senior officer stated that the incident took place on Monday evening, when the girl along with her father had gone to a market in Mairang Pyndengumiong village to sell their farm produce. The deceased has been identified as Phyrnailin Kharsyntiew, a resident of Mawkhap village. It is being told that the accused approached the girl and her father and engaged in an argument. During the argument, the man slit the throat of her girlfriend. She was immediately rushed to the hospital where she was declared dead.

“All of a sudden, the man slit the throat of her girlfriend. The woman was immediately taken to Mairang Civil Hospital, where doctors declared her dead,” the police officer added.

The accused was apprehended by the locals as he tried to flee the spot, and handed over to the police. A case has been registered into the case and the investigation is underway. According to the police, the motive behind the murder appears to be a personal dispute, but all the angles are being investigated.

While the investigation continues, the father of the woman said that the accused killed his daughter as she did not want to continue the relationship.
