Salman Khan Sends Fans Into Frenzy With Post-Workout Pictures

Salman Khan has reportedly been preparing for his upcoming movie based on the Galwan Valley attack in 2020. To get into his role, the superstar is doing a hectic training. Salman, who is also known for his great physique, recently posted some post-workout pictures on Instagram and fans can’t stop praising him.

Sharing the pictures, Salman wrote in the caption, “Take care and protect the man in the mirror…wohi kaam aayega.’

According to Mid-Day, Salman will be seen as the late Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu. For the uninformed, Colonel Babu was the fearless officer of the 16 Bihar regiment and died in the fight at Gallant Valley. In order to give complete justice to this role, Salman started physical training early this month.

A source told Mid-Day, “Salman has refurbished his two gyms — a sprawling one at his Khandala farmhouse and a smaller one at his Bandra apartment — to suit the current requirements. He trains for four hours daily and is undergoing circuit training focusing on different muscle groups. The exercises are designed to build strength, endurance, and cardiovascular improvement, the latter being important for high-altitude travellers.”

The source also added, “The training includes periodically exposing the body to higher altitudes, thus giving it time to adjust to the lower oxygen level. Oxygen saturation level can be achieved at home through altitude simulation tents, chambers, or hypoxic masks. Salman may join an altitude training studio because, at 59, he needs to be fighting fit to shoot combat sequences in Ladakh.”

The movie will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia. On the work front, Salman was last seen in Sikandar with Rashmika Mandanna.
