Jaehyun, the former member of the K-pop boy band F.able, passed away on June 29 at the age of 23. He was reportedly battling with leukaemia. The news of his sudden demise was confirmed by Hojun, who posted a tribute on his Instagram story. The details about his funeral and prayer meeting have not been disclosed.
Who Was Jaehyun?
Jaehyun was a member of the K-pop boyband F.able, which was formed in 2020. He, along with the other band members, released their first song, ‘Burn It Up’, on June 4, 2020. They were reportedly supposed to debut on May 28, 2020, but it was postponed for an unknown reason. Jaehyun was the main vocalist and the youngest person in the band.
However, despite the huge potential, F.able disbanded in 2023 due to inactivity since July 2023, and Jaehyun also left the group. Three members of their group formed their boy band Enphaze.
Paying tribute to Jae Hyun, Hojun wrote on Instagram, “I heard the news too late… I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there for your last journey. I sometimes think about how I could have done better, and it’s regretful. I hope you can shake off all your worries and live comfortably there. Thank you for the past five years. I hope you’re eating lots of delicious food and doing well there. Come visit me in my dreams.”
Jaehyun was also inactive on Instagram since July 2023. Many fans posted tribute in the comment section as they expressed their grief after learning about Jaehyun.
