In the sensational Jabalpur acid attack case, it has been revealed that the person who attacked Shraddha Das was none other than her childhood friend Ishita.

Police said Ishita was jealous of Das’s beauty and her success in studies. Apart from this, Ishita suspected that Das was behind the video of her and her boyfriend that went viral.

For these reasons, Ishita was planning the attack for many days. She tried to buy acid by making fake documents of a private college, but the shopkeeper refused to give acid due to doubt on the documents. After this, Ishita introduced her friend Ansh as a professor and made the shopkeeper talk to him and obtained 500 ml of acid from Anuprash Enterprises located in Civic Center, said police.

On Sunday night, Ishita attacked Daa by throwing acid. Severely burnt Das is undergoing treatment in a private hospital. The police have arrested Ishita and sent her to jail, while the search for her partner Ansh is still on.
