Who Was Michael Madsen? Hollywood Star, Known For Kill Bill, Dies At 67


Hollywood actor Michael Madsen passed away on June 3 at the age of 67. The reason for his death is not disclosed yet, but his manager, Ron Smith, revealed that the preliminary cause of death was cardiac arrest. Michael was found unresponsive in his Malibu home. According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department shared that they do not suspect any foul play.

Who Was Michael Madsen?

Michael Madsen started his acting career in 1983 with the film ‘WarGames’, where he played the role of Lieutenant Steve Phelps. He further appeared in Racing with the Moon, The Natural, The Killing Time, Blood Red and more. He rose to fame with a role in the 1992 film ‘Reservoir Dogs’ and played Vic Vega/Mr. Blonde.

His other notable work includes: The Doors, Thelma & Louise, Free Willy, Species, Die Another Day, and many more. Moreover, he is most recoginsed for his role in the ‘Kill Bill’ franchise, where he was seen as Budd.

Madsen’s managers, Smith and Susan Ferris, and publicist, Liz Rodrigue, said in the statement, “In the last two years, Michael has been doing incredible work with independent films, including upcoming features Resurrection Road, Concessions, and Cookbook for Southern Housewives.”

Michael Madsen has been married three times. He was first married to Georganne LaPiere and separated in 1988. He then tied the knot to Jeannine Bisignano in 1991 and divorced in 1995. He married DeAnna Morgan in 1996 and had three sons. His son Hudson died by suicide in 2022.
