Yamuna City Gears Up For Transformation With State-Of-The-Art Hospital, Film City And IT Parks– Check Update News24 –
Greater Noida: Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ held a review meeting on Saturday regarding the development underway in Yamuna City, Greater Noida. During the meeting, several other projects including Jewar Airport, Medical Device Park, Film city were discussed in detail. The minister emphasised that all development work must be completed on time.
He asserted that maximum employment should be generated in the state and the UP government is optimistic about the investment of Rs 45, 000 crores.
One And A Half Lakh People Will Get Employment
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) CEO, Rakesh Kumar Singh said that under the ground breaking ceremony, the authority has allotted 280 projects worth 45,148.41 crores against the target of 43,750 crores, which will provide employment to an estimated 1.32 lakh people. The land for the schemes for which LOI has been issued will be made available soon. Those allottees will not have to wait at any cost, added the CEO. This move is expected to speed up development.
State Of The Art Hospital To Be Built Near The Airport
Minister Nandi has instructed that plots near Jewar Airport be allocated on a priority basis to renowned national and international companies. He has also agreed to establish a state-of-the art hospital in the airport area, where patients will be treated here with modern facilities.
1095 Days Set For Film City
The minister was also made aware of the progress of the International film city being built in Sector 21. The film city is being constructed by M/s Vevey Bhutani Private Limited. The company has been handed over the possession of the land and the first phase is targeted to be completed in 1095 days. In the first phase, work will take place on 230 acres.
Review Of Medical Device Park
Moreover, 89 plots have been allotted in the Medical Device Park being developed in Sector 28 and construction work has started on 6 units. LOI has been issued to several companies including M/s Havells Limited under the EMC 2.0 scheme in Sector 10. India’s first North India-based semiconductor unit will be set up here. The joint project of M/s Foxconn and HCL has been approved by the Central Government. Meanwhile, another project of Hiranandani Group has also been sent to the Central Government for approval.
Discussion On Fintech City And Data Center
The minister was also informed about the data center park and a new IT-ITES park being developed in Sector 28. Plan of Fintech City, which will be constructed on 350 acres on PPP mode is also progressing. So far 140 plots have been allotted in the Toy Park being built in Sector 33. Projects like MSME, Handicraft, Furniture and Apparel Park are being developed in other sectors.
Heritage City In Mathura, Urban Centre Planned In Agra
The Heritage city in Mathura under the Raya Urban Centre will be built on PPP mode. Similarly, a master plan is being prepared for the Urban Centre in an area of 12,000 hectares in Agra. The area will be known as New Agra. Minister Nandi also reviewed the Smart Village Scheme, beautification of ponds, operation of cow shelters and rejuvenation of schools.
