Jr NTR Praises Hrithik Roshan And Ayan Mukerji AS He Wrap Up Shooting For ‘War 2’: ‘Can’t Wait’

‘War 2’ is easily one of the most anticipated films of 2025, especially with Telugu superstar Jr NTR now officially joining the YRF Spy Universe. He will lock horns with Hrithik Roshan in the film and will be seen performing high-octane action sequences. Before his big Bollywood debut with War 2, the ‘RRR’ star praised Hrithik and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji as he wrapped up filming.

Jr NTR wrote on Instagram, “And It’s a wrap for #War2! So much to take back from this one…It’s always a blast being on set with @iHrithik Sir. His energy is something I have always admired. There is so much I have learned from him on this journey of War 2. Ayan has been amazing. He has truly set the stage for a big surprise package for the audience. A big thanks to the entire @yrf team and all our crew for the love and effort. Can’t wait for all of you to experience this high on August 14th.”

Earlier, while speaking to Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt for the promotion of ‘Devara’, Jr NTR talked about his experience of working with Ayan Mukerji. He revealed that they had some creative conflicts as both of them have different working styles. He shared, “When I was shooting for War 2, Ayan did not know what was going to come. Because he was trying to bring it out from me, that’s how this was going to come out. I told him, ‘Ayan, I am very instinctive; kuch na kuch aa jayega (something will come).’ Now, he is not used to doing this at all; he loves prep, and I am completely the opposite. And then Adi Sir was there in between, who said, ‘It’s ok, it’s ok, I get it’.”

He added, “Too much prep doesn’t give you the chance to explore yourself. South Indian films (sets) have always been chaotically organised. Like, if the prints have to come tomorrow, the team will still ask for one extra hour because they want to make some changes in the edit. The clock is ticking; the prints have to be delivered, but you are still working on the film.”

‘War 2’ also stars Kiara Advani in the lead role. The movie will be released in theatres on August 14, 2025.
