Anurag Kashyap’s Daughter Aaliyah Marries Shane Gregoire In A Dreamy Christian Ceremony; See Pics

Known for turning heads with her style statements, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Aaliyah was in the news when she tied the knot with Shane Gregoire in a dreamy Hindu ceremony in December 2024. Now, she’s back in the spotlight after exchanging vows once again with Shane, this time in an American wedding ceremony.

Posting some beautiful glimpses from her wedding, Aaliyah wrote, “We got married again.”

She further revealed that she wore her mother-in-law’s 30-year-old wedding dress for the second ceremony. Aaliyah wrote in the caption, “For our American wedding, I wore my beautiful mother-in-law’s wedding dress from 30 years ago (swipe to see!) and it was so so special! Timeless and classic.”

For her Hindu wedding in December 2024, Aaliyah wore a stunning lehenga by Tarun Tahiliani, featuring a lace-embroidered jaal enriched with blooming floral hues, detailed kasab work, and intricate zardozi accents. Shane, on the other hand, opted for a classic sherwani adorned with multi-coloured silk thread embroidery, pearls, and sequins.

Earlier, while speaking to The Hollywood Reporter India, Anurag Kashyap talked about how he became emotional at his daughter’s wedding. He shared, “I had the same feeling when my daughter was born. I don’t know why I cried so much, but I cried. Same thing at her wedding. I think I cried non-stop for 10 days. I don’t know why, and in front of random people.”

“At my daughter’s wedding, after the varmala and havan was done, I couldn’t handle it. I was so overwhelmed and emotional, I wanted to leave the wedding, even before the reception began. And I was going out but he (pointing to Vikramaditya Motwane) stopped me. He took me out, we went for a long walk and then we came back,” he added.
