Minor Girl Allegedly Assaulted By Teacher, Two Others In Sikkim News24 –

A minor student was allegedly sexually assaulted by a school teacher and two others in Sikkim’s Gyalshing district. Police have arrested all three accused in connection with the case.

Victim is a Class 7 student

According to PTI, the victim is a Class 7 student. She alleged that the teacher and two other individuals had sexually abused her.

The school principal lodged a complaint with the Gyalshing police on July 14. A police officer confirmed that all three accused have been arrested under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Fire breaks out at residential building in Hyderabad

In a separate incident, five persons were rescued after a fire broke out at a residential building in the early hours of Wednesday in Hyderabad.

“Fire broke out in a G+4 upper floor building at Flat No. 201, Aijaz Residency, Moghalpura. Fortunately, the prompt response of the fire Station Moghalpura Crew led by Leading Fireman SM Hasan, saved five people trapped on the upper floors,” officials said.

As per officials, the fire occurred due to a short circuit in the switchboard, bed and TV.

The rescued individuals’ names include Syed Abdul Kareem Sajid (55, physically handicapped) and Atiya Begum (47), Farheen Begum (27), Syed Imam Jafar (19) and Mohammed Rizwan Uddin (38).
