Akshay Kumar Dismisses Publicity Stunt Rumours After Paresh Rawal’s Sudden Exit From Hera Pheri 3: ‘Things Went Legal’

‘Hera Pheri 3’ made the audience excited with the news of the original cast, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty, returning to the franchise. But fans were left disappointed when Paresh Rawal announced his exit from Hera Pheri 3, and it also led to Akshay Kumar sending him a legal notice. Later, they resolved their issues, and the movie is in development again. Due to a sudden turn of events, many people questioned if the feud between Akshay and Paresh was a publicity stunt.

Akshay, while speaking on the show ‘The Right Angle with Sonal Kalra Season 2’, dismissed the rumours of Paresh Rawal’s exit from ‘Hera Pheri 3’ being a publicity stunt. He said, “Nahi, yeh publicity stunt nahi hai (It is not a publicity stunt). The things went legal, so when legal things are involved, we cannot call it a publicity stunt; it is a real thing.”

“But ab sab kuch thik ho gaya hai (Everything is okay now). Very soon, some kind of announcement can come. Yes, there were some ups and downs. But now everything is solved, and we are back together, and we have always been together. Yes, that’s it!” he further added.

The news of Paresh Rawal’s sudden exit from ‘Hera Pheri 3’ was not just a big shock to the fans, but also to its cast and crew. Director Priyadarshan earlier revealed that he had no idea that Paresh had left the film, but assured fans that everything is now resolved.

He told Mid-Day, “Both Akshay and Paresh called to say that everything is sorted. I was in shock when Paresh said, ‘Sir, I’m doing the movie’. He added, ‘I have never had anything except a lot of respect for you. I’ve done 26 movies with you, and I’m sorry to have left the film. There were some personal issues.’ He said that Akshay, Suniel, and he met cordially and sorted it out.”

Not much has been revealed about the release date and the other cast of Hera Pheri 3.
