This Animated Film By ‘KGF’ Makers Sees Impressive Jump In Earnnings


The animated film Mahavatar Narsimha has taken audiences by surprise, emerging as a strong contender against other major releases. Despite lacking big-name stars, the movie has delivered an outstanding box office performance. It beautifully retells the timeless story of Prahlad, a devoted follower of Lord Vishnu, captivating viewers with its compelling narrative and stunning visuals.

Mahavatar Narsimha Box Office Collection:

According to Sacnilk, ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ opened to Rs 1.75 crore only, but its collection increased on the weekend. The movie had an impressive earning of Rs 4.6 crore on day 2 and collected a whopping Rs 9.5 crore on day 3. The movie has collected Rs 17.58 crore till now.

About Mahavatar Narsimha:

The plot focuses on demon Hiranyakashyap, who declares himself a god, but his son Prahlad remains devoted to Lord Vishnu. To protect Prahlad and defeat Hiranyakashyap, Lord Vishnu manifests as Narsimha. ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ is produced by Kleem Productions and presented by Hombale Films, which is the production house behind major Kannada hits like ‘KGF Chapter 1’, ‘KGF Chapter 2’, ‘Salaar’ and ‘Kantara’.

The makers have planned the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, which will feature different films based on the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu.

The movie is directed by Ashwin Kumar and written by Jayapurna Das. The soundtrack and background score were composed by Sam C. S., with Ajay Verma and Ashwin Kumar serving as the editors. After its grand success in India, the movie will now release in Europe, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, the Middle East and North America on July 31.

Aditya Raj Sharma has lent his voice to Hiranyakashipu, whereas Haripriya Matta has been cast as Prahlad and Harjeet Walia as Lord Narsimha. The voice cast also includes Sanket Jaiswal, Priyanka Bhandari, Vasundhra Bose, Sanchit Wartak, Saanwari Yagnik, Dinesh Varma, Uplaksh Kochhar, Akshay Joshi, Dixoan Shah, Shahid Zafar, Rakesh Soni, Ayushi Anand and Anshul Sharma.
