Bandikui-Jaipur Expressway Opens To Public, Cuts Travel Time To Jaipur News24 –


The Bandikui-Jaipur Expressway is now open to the public. It is an important part of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. It could prove to be helpful in strengthening regional connectivity as well as promoting tourism. Now the distance from Delhi-NCR to Jaipur can be covered in just two and a half to three hours. This 66.91 km long route provides fast, comfortable, and safe travel to the passengers. After meeting all the safety standards, it was opened to the public on July 15. 

Route Details And Connectivity

The section runs from Sohna (Haryana) to Mozmabad (Rajasthan) via Bandikui and is an important part of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. It was fully opened after all safety norms and signboards were installed, a senior NHAI official said.

Cost, Usage, And Speed Limits

As reported by Hindustan Times, the 66.91-km-long route has been built for Rs 1,368 crore. According to the NHAI, more than 15,000 vehicles are plying on the new route every day, and the number is expected to increase further. The expressway is designed for high-speed travel, with a maximum speed limit of 120 kmph.

With the opening of the Bandikui-Jaipur Expressway, a significant milestone has been achieved in India’s road infrastructure development. This high-speed corridor seamlessly connects Sohna in Haryana to Mozmabad in Rajasthan. It is a gateway to economic growth, faster travel, and enhanced regional integration. 

The expressway is expected to boost tourism in Rajasthan while easing freight and passenger movement between Delhi-NCR and Jaipur. Travellers can now experience a comfortable, scenic journey that reduces travel time dramatically to just two and a half to three hours. As part of the larger Delhi-Mumbai Expressway project, this route is poised to reshape connectivity in northern and western India, making every kilometre not just a stretch of road, but a step toward progress.
