The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has officially announced confirmed the venues for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025. The tournament is scheduled to be held from September 9 and will continue till September 28. A T20 format will be followed that also aligns with the preparation of the upcoming Men’s T20 World Cup in 2026.

One of the major talking points of the tournament is the match between India and Pakistan which is set to take place on September 14 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The opening match will be played between Afghanistan and Hong Kong in Abu Dhabi. There was a lot of debate surrounding India’s stance on playing against Pakistan and despite the recent tensions between both the nations following the Pahalgam attack it has been decided that both the countries will be playing each other.

There is the possibility of as many as three India-Pakistan games in this tournament. Both countries could meet again if they make it to the Super Four phase. They could also have a third match if both qualify to the final.
