Lions’ Chase Derails After Early Setbacks

Pursuing 166 for a win, West Delhi Lions faltered early on, losing two early wickets to Vikas Dixit and captain Harshit Rana, leaving them struggling at 13/2. Wicketkeeper Krish Yadav attempted to stabilize the innings with 23 off 23 deliveries, but the asking rate kept rising.

Hrithik Shokeen was outstanding as he scored 51 off mere 24 deliveries, studded with five fours and three sixes. His whirlwind knock was supplemented by a 49-run partnership in 19 balls to revive the chase.
