England and Trent Rockets batter Adam Hose suffered a harrowing injury during The Hundred 2025 match against Southern Brave at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. The incident happened late in the first innings when there were only 20 balls left. In trying to save a powerful stroke from Michael Bracewell close to mid-wicket, Hose lost his balance and fell awkwardly. The initial response hinted at some severe leg injury perhaps to his ankle or knee as he was seen writhing in obvious pain.

Medical personnel swiftly came onto the field, and after a prolonged interruption in play, Hose was stretchered off. An ambulance was summoned onto the field to transport him safely for additional medical attention, highlighting the gravity of the situation.
The Hundred also posted about Adamâs injury on X and wrote: âWe wish Adam Hose a speedy recovery after an injury to his leg in the fieldâ
Despite losing one of the key players in the middle of the game, the Trent Rockets pulled off a gritty four-wicket victory against Southern Brave. But Hoseâs injury spoils the success, with preliminary indications pointing towards a dislocated ankle something that might keep him out for six to twelve weeks.
Additional medical tests will determine if he needs surgery. If he does, Hose may have an even longer recovery time, which could leave him questionable for the rest of the tournament and potentially beyond.
