Greater Noida: ‘Apne Aap Mari Hai’

Nikki, a resident of Greater Noida’s Sirsa village, was brutally murdered by her husband, Vipin Bhati, on Thursday (August 21, 2025). Horrifying footage showed her being beaten up by her husband and another woman before being set on fire. She was initially taken to Noida’s Fortis Hospital but later died on her way to Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital. The deeply disturbing incident has sent shockwaves across the entire nation.

Police arrested Nikki’s husband and registered a case against her in-laws. As per the latest update, Vipin Bhati was taken to the hospital for treatment after he was shot in the leg during an encounter with the police today. On being asked if he had any regrets for killing his wife, he told ANI, “I have no remorse. I haven’t killed her. She died on her own. Husbands and wives often have fights; it is very common…”
