Gurugram Battles Flooded Streets And Traffic Nightmare

Gurugram Viral Videos: Heavy rain has wreaked havoc in Delhi-NCR, bringing the city to a standstill. The torrential downpour, which started on Monday, continued throughout Tuesday, leaving vehicles and roads submerged in knee-deep water. Among the worst-hit cities was Gurgaon, where commuters were stuck for hours in massive traffic. Gurugram remains under orange alert as of now, following relentless overnight rain.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rain to lash Delhi-NCR until evening. In the meantime, social media is flooded with real-time updates on Gurugram’s condition. Users continue to share the pictures and videos of flooded roads and stalled vehicles.

A user shared a video of a road in Gurgoan completely submerged in water. She wrote, “This is Sushant Lok 1, one of the most premium areas on MG Road #Gurgaon #Gurugram. The palatial houses costing crores have their own private backwaters to sail through.”

Another user shared a shocking video of a chaotic situation at IFFCO Chowk, Gurgaon. People were seen navigating through the severely waterlogged road.

A frustrated user highlighted the poor infrastructure in Gurugram. He wrote, “The infrastructure in Gurugram is a joke. Just a short rain turns roads into rivers and exposes a terrible drainage system. Potholes are everywhere. We’re paying high taxes for a city that can’t handle a simple monsoon. It’s a total failure of governance and accountability.”

Another user complained about the traffic jams, which lasted for at least 5 to 6 hours on Monday. He wrote, “3 hours of rain and Gurugram is in complete chaos. People have been stranded in traffic for 5–6 hours.”

A viral video circulating on social media platforms was recorded and shared by a user. The shocking clip showed people stuck in a traffic jam for six hours, and all arterial roads blocked.
