MS Dhoni & R Madhavan Join Forces In Vasan Bala’s The Chase

Sunday morning turned out to be a surprise. On September 7, R. Madhavan shared a teaser of Vasan Bala’s The Chase on social media. What’s more, it also featured MS Dhoni as a task force officer.

Madhavan didn’t clarify if the project is a film, a series or something else. While not much information has been revealed yet, fans are increasingly wondering has MS Dhoni really made his full-fledged acting debut with R. Madhavan in Vasan Bala’s The Chase?

The teaser shows Madhavan and Dhoni as “two fighters” embarking on “one mission”, wearing the uniform of a task force officer.

Sharing the clip, Madhavan wrote:
“One mission. Two fighters. Buckle up – a wild, explosive chase begins.”

As we all expected, the teaser quickly went viral within moments. Fans are excited to see Dhoni in what could be his first full-fledged acting role. While we have seen him in various commercials, and made a cameo appearance in Tamil film GOAT, this is the biggest role he has had on-screen yet.

Also, R Madhavan continues to potato in the acting world. He was recently seen in Netflix’s Aap Jaisa Koi also starring Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film is about love, gender, and societal conditioning. Madhavan plays a 42-year-old Sanskrit teacher that falls for a much younger, free-spirited French teacher. The film challenges traditional notions of relationship norms and emphasizes the need for equality in love.
