Greater Noida: The upcoming International Trade Show, to be held at the India Expo Center from September 25 to 29, 2025, gives a glimpse of the technological progress and startup ecosystem. The event will witness participation by 45 innovative startups from over 40 districts. These startup companies specialize in health, education, rural development, and social welfare
According to Mahip Singh, head of Innovation Hub, UP, the trade show will give a boost to these startups and provide a global platform. He further added that the companies from major cities like Lucknow, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Noida, Banaras, Prayagraj, and Kanpur, will demonstrate their expertise in the field of drone, technology, IoT, robotics, automation, and healthcare.
According to reports, more than 13,000 startups have been registered under the startup policy of the Uttar Pradesh Government over the past years. These companies have significantly contributed towards improving agriculture, health, and rural life. At present, UP is ranked fourth in the national ranking of startups. Efforts are underway to bring the state to the top.
In a significant development, incubation centers are being developed in private tech institutes across Uttar Pradesh. The centers are playing a major role in providing the necessary resources to students to create a startup. Many are already established in GL Bajaj, ITS Engineering College, NIET, KIET, AKG, ABS, MIET, and many other colleges.
Efforts are underway to make the trade show a major success. It is estimated that nearly 5 lakh people will attend the event this time.
