Two New Approach Roads To Ease Delhi-Ghaziabad Traffic Near Vasundhara, Indirapuram News24 –

The ever-increasing traffic on NH-9 and the daily jam near Sector-62 has created problems for the people coming and going from Indirapuram and Vasundhara. To reduce this problem and reduce the traffic pressure on NH-9, there is a plan to build two new approach roads on the elevated road in Vasundhara – one for climbing towards Delhi and the other for descending for vehicles coming from Delhi.

This initiative will not only provide relief to the local residents but will also improve the traffic system of the entire area. This information has come to light in a report by Jagran.com.

Elevated road will provide direct connectivity

An elevated road has already been constructed from Rajnagar Extension to the UP border, which has made the journey from Ghaziabad to Delhi easy. There are cuts available for boarding and deboarding on this road for Vasundhara, through which passengers can go to Vasundhara or Indirapuram from Rajnagar extension and can also return.

But till now there is no direct cut on this elevated road to go from Vasundhara to Delhi or from Delhi to Vasundhara. Due to this, people have to go through busy routes like NH-9 and CISF Road.

To solve this problem, local MLA Sanjeev Sharma has suggested to Setu Nigam that entry and exit facilities for Delhi should be provided on the elevated road in Vasundhara.

A new approach road will be built at a cost of Rs 90 crore

To connect to the elevated road in Vasundhara, two 400 meter long approach roads will be built, which will connect CISF Road to the elevated road. This will enable people of Vasundhara and Indirapuram to go directly to Delhi.

According to Rajneesh Yadav, Project Manager of Ghaziabad unit of Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation Limited, about Rs 90 crore will be spent on this project. A detailed project report (DPR) will be prepared and sent to the government, and construction work will be started as soon as the budget is approved.

MLA Sanjeev Sharma said that approach roads are necessary to ensure maximum use of the elevated road and to save people going to Delhi from Vasundhara-Indirapuram from trouble. Efforts will be made to get the budget passed as soon as the DPR is ready.
