Shortly after, the Delhi Police confirmed that nothing suspicious was found and the threat was a hoax. The mail initially triggered a security response, prompting authorities to launch an investigation. Heavy security was deployed around the hotel premises, with bomb disposal squads running a thorough check in the area.

Earlier on Friday, the Delhi High Court received a similar bomb threat via mail, sparking widespread panic. A full security drill was conducted in and around the court’s premises. The lawyers, judges, and staff were quickly evacuated, and the proceedings were temporarily halted.
