Job Opportunity For Orphaned Youth Above 18 At Noida Airport’s Cargo Hub, Air India SATS To Train And Hire News24 –
Greater Noida: The upcoming Noida International Airport near Jewar in Uttar Pradesh will offer more than just flight services. It will transform the lives of thousands of youth, including orphans and unprivileged youth, who are socially and economically backward. The Multimodal Cargo Hub at Jewar, being developed at NIA, has emerged as a new ray of hope for thousands of youth.
New Employment Opportunity For Orphans
Air India SATS is building a state-of-the-art cargo hub spread over 87 acres in the Noida International Airport complex. According to company officials, orphan youth above 18 years of age will initially be provided special training. They will later be offered jobs in areas, including warehousing, logistics, and cargo operations.
Training Opportunity In Delhi And Hyderabad
The youth will be provided with academic learning combined with real-world site experience in the Terminal Training Academy located in Delhi and Hyderabad. They will initially be responsible for tasks such as cargo security, documentation, and warehouse operations. Based on their skills, they will be offered supervisor or specialist positions later.
This is, however, not the first time that Air India SATS has come up with such a ground-breaking initiative. The company has previously provided employment opportunities to many orphan youths and has trained them at Delhi Airport.
Cargo Terminal Set To Become One Of Asia’s Largest Logistics Gateways
The infrastructure of the cargo hub is nearing completion. parking and docking facilities for 42 trucks and 27 heavy vehicles have been developed here, respectively. Once complete, this cargo terminal will be one of the largest logistics centers in India and will make Noida Asia’s leading logistics gateway.
Employment Opportunity For Thousands Of People
According to OSD Shailendra Bhatia, the work of building the cargo hub is progressing rapidly. It will be completely operational before the flight services start. Thousands of people are estimated to get employment here, including orphan youth.
