India pick up their third win in as many games! ✌️
🇮🇳 put up a score that was a mountain that was just too high for Oman to scale, eventually getting home by a margin of 21 runs.#INDvOMAN #DPWorldAsiaCup2025 #ACC pic.twitter.com/FFLhay9noF

Strong Batting Sets the Platform
India chose to bat first after winning the toss, posting a competitive total of 188/8 in their 20 overs. Key to that total was Sanju Samson’s composed half‑century – 56 off 45 balls that balanced caution with aggression. Though the top order started slowly, India found momentum in the middle overs through timely hitting and smart rotation of strike.
Oman Fight Hard, But India Hold Their Nerve
Oman did themselves proud with gutsy performances. Aamir Kaleem (64 off 46 balls) and Hammad Mirza (51 off 33) both carved half‑centuries and stitched together a strong 93‑run second wicket partnership that kept Oman in the hunt for much of the game. But when the finish line came into view, India’s bowlers, especially in the death overs – pulled things back.
Milestone Moment for Arshdeep Singh
This match also saw Arshdeep Singh enter the history books, he became the first Indian bowler to reach 100 T20I wickets, doing so while defending this target. His final wicket of the match sealed the game and the milestone.
