Suzuki Motor Corporation has unveiled a new emblem – its most significant update in the last 22 years. The change marks a new chapter of growth and development for the brand. The refreshed logo aligns closely with Suzuki’s aspirational corporate slogan, “By Your Side,” and reflects both continuity and transformation as the company adapts to the evolving mobility landscape.
The Japanese automaker further explained that the redesign embodies the brand’s long-standing philosophy of “standing with the customer.” The new emblem symbolizes Suzuki’s commitment to walk alongside its customers in a world of mobility that is constantly evolving, especially with the transition to electric powertrains — echoing the sentiments behind the “By Your Side” slogan.
Changes to the Logo
The iconic “S” moniker remains unchanged, reinforcing Suzuki’s commitment to continue serving customers in the same spirit as before. However, the company has revised the way the logo is displayed on its vehicles. Suzuki has now adopted a flatter emblem, designed to suit the aesthetics of the new era.
Another key change is the shift from traditional chrome plating to high-brightness silver paint. According to the brand, this move will help reduce environmental impact while also signifying a new era for Suzuki.
The new emblem will be officially revealed at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 and will first appear on next-generation concept models. Following that, the updated badge will be rolled out across Suzuki’s production vehicles globally.
Since the proportions and overall look of the logo remain the same, new-generation vehicles coming out of the factory will gradually begin to feature the updated emblem.
Rollout in India
India plays a pivotal role in Suzuki’s global strategy, with a large portion of its exported vehicles being manufactured in the country. As a result, popular export models such as the Grand Vitara, Ertiga, and Fronx will be among the first to feature the new logo.
According to Toshihiro Suzuki, the updated emblem reflects both the brand’s enduring legacy and its ambition to move forward into a future of innovation and sustainability.
