exciting new SUVs gearing up for launch in the coming months News24 –

Witnessing increased footfall after the new GST update, along with the Diwali season around the corner, the sales trend for manufacturers has started showing an upward trajectory. To ensure that this growth continues, several brands are gearing up to launch a slew of new cars in India. Here are the details about the upcoming Hyundai and Tata vehicles:

Tata Punch Facelift

The Tata Punch is all set to receive a mid-life facelift, featuring refreshed bumpers and advanced features for the Indian market. According to media reports, the all-new Punch is expected to launch in India in November. Test mules of the vehicle have been spotted on several occasions in recent months.

Based on spy shots, the updated Punch is expected to come equipped with new interior features and a larger infotainment screen than the outgoing model. It will also sport a new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo at the center. The new iteration is also believed to offer wireless connectivity to enhance the user experience.

Mechanically, the car is expected to remain unchanged. It is likely to continue with the 1.2-litre petrol engine, delivering 87 bhp of power and 115 Nm of peak torque. Tata will also continue offering the CNG variant, which will retain its current mechanical setup. The CNG version is powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine, producing 76 bhp and 115 Nm of torque.

The mini SUV could be priced in the range of ₹6–10 lakh in the Indian market.

Hyundai Venue

The new-generation Hyundai Venue is also set to launch in the Indian market in the coming months. The car has been spotted multiple times during test runs. Based on recent sightings, it’s evident that the new Venue will incorporate several design cues inspired by the larger Hyundai Alcazar and Creta.

In addition to the exterior updates, the interior will also receive a comprehensive refresh, featuring new upholstery and upgraded features.

Mechanically, the new Venue will remain the same. Buyers will have the option to choose from a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5L diesel engine. Transmission options will include both manual and automatic variants, as currently offered.

Tata Harrier and Safari Petrol

Apart from the new Harrier, Tata Motors is also planning to launch petrol variants of both the Harrier and Safari in the domestic market by the end of 2025.

As per recent updates, both models are expected to be equipped with a newly developed 1.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which is capable of delivering approximately 165 bhp and around 280 Nm of peak torque.

These petrol variants will be offered with 6-speed torque converter automatic gearboxes. No major cosmetic changes are expected, and the overall design of the vehicles will remain largely unchanged.
