‘A Complete Darling…’ Malti Chahar recalls her first meeting with MS Dhoni News24 –

Actress Malti Chahar, who is currently making waves as a wildcard entry in Bigg Boss 19, recently opened up about a special memory – meeting former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the first time.

In a chat with ANI, Malti shared that Dhoni was actually the first cricketer she had ever met in her life. The moment happened back in 2018, when her brother, Deepak Chahar, was playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL.

“My brother asked if I wanted to meet Mahi Bhaiya, and I said, ‘Why not?’ It was my first time meeting a cricketer, and it turned out to be Dhoni!” said Malti, fondly referring to the cricket legend as Mahi Bhaiya.

Malti recalled meeting Dhoni during a shoot in Chennai, where the CSK team had also stopped by. Speaking about the experience, she said,

“I really loved his aura. He’s such a sweet person… a complete darling.”

Her brother, Deepak Chahar, has shared a strong bond with Dhoni both on and off the field over the years. Dhoni, one of India’s most successful cricket captains, led the Indian team in 200 ODIs, winning 110 matches and losing 74.

As for Malti, the actress is currently grabbing attention in Bigg Boss 19, especially due to her lively interactions with fellow contestant Tanya Mittal. In a recent episode, she teased Tanya over her unusual comments – like not knowing what to carry before a shower, having bodyguards at Mahakumbh, and claiming her house looks like a 5-star hotel with an entire floor dedicated to her wardrobe.

Malti, who made her film debut with the movie Genius, is now balancing both her acting career and her time in the Bigg Boss house, where her charm and candid nature are winning over the audience.
