Ring Road closed at night from Oct 11-14 for bridge construction – check alternate routes, timings News24 –
Delhi Traffic Advisory: In a comprehensive traffic advisory issued on Tuesday, the Delhi Police has outlined major diversions and restrictions due to Belly Bridge construction. The ring road will be temporarily closed on the night of October 11 to 14, 2025. During this time, commuters are urged to use the suggested alternative routes to reach their destinations.
In view of ongoing construction work in front of Rajputana Rifles at Pillars No. 60-62, traffic movement on Ring Road between Dhaula Kuan and Naraina will be temporarily closed.
Night Closures And Diversions
- Traffic going from Dhaula Kuan towards Naraina will not be allowed on the Ring Road on October 11 and 13 between 10 pm to 6 am.
- Traffic going from Naraina towards Dhaula Kuan will not be allowed on the Ring Road on October 12 and 14 between 10 pm to 6 am.
Alternative Routes
- Route 1: Commuters can take the loop – Vande Matram Marg (towards Naraina/Punjabi Bagh)
- Route 2: Commuters can take the loop – Dhaula Kuan – Station Road (towards Janakpuri/Jail Road)
NOTE: The U-turn near Barar Square will remain open. Traffic heading from Naraina can take a left onto Kriappa Marg to proceed towards Dhaula Kuan.
Commuters must avoid the above-mentioned road during the restricted period. Motorists and the general public are requested to follow traffic rules and cooperate with traffic personnel.
