Five killed as house collapses after cylinder blast; several feared trapped under debris News24 –

Uttar Pradesh: At least five people were killed on Thursday (October 9, 2025) after a powerful blast brought down a house in Ayodhya’s Pagla Bhari village. The explosion left several people injured, creating panic in the area. According to officials, many people are still feared trapped under the debris.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath took cognisance of the explosion that rocked the house. He expressed grief over the loss of lives and directed officials to immediately rush to the spot and expedite relief work. The injured have been transferred to a nearby district hospital for medical treatment.
