Stage I of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) has been implemented in Delhi-NCR starting Tuesday, as the Air Quality Index (AQI) crossed the 201 mark, entering the ‘Poor’ category. This stage includes preventive and restrictive measures aimed at curbing further deterioration of air quality. The enforcement of GRAP Stage I highlights the growing pollution concerns in the region as winter approaches, and with Diwali just a week away.
