CM Yogi Reviews Jewar Airport Work

Earlier on Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the ongoing work at the site and instructed the concessionaire to finish the task at the earliest. Meanwhile, he closely inspected the progress made on the domestic terminal, the inauguration venue, security arrangements, traffic management, etc.

Following the inspection, the Chief Minister chaired a high-level review meeting in the airport boardroom. He directed that every job be finished within the stipulated timeframe, maintaining the highest standards. It is estimated that the inauguration preparations will likely take a certain amount of time.

The Jewar airport received security clearance from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) for its airside infrastructure in September. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is expected to be issued on October 27, as per reports.
