India and Australia gear up to play the first T20I on October 29, Wednesday at Manuka Oval in Canberra. But all eyes will be on the weather as it is likely to create a direct impact on the pitch conditions as well. Suryakumar Yadav will be leading the Indian squad and will be aiming to win the first match, gaining a winning momentum. According to the weather forecast by AccuWeather, there are chances of rain in Canberra in the morning and the weather will remain cloudy and cool throughout the day.
In the evening the weather will remain mostly cloudy with 94% cloud cover and the temperature will be approximately around 10 degrees Celsius.

The Manuka Oval pitch is on the slower one and this means that the teams which win the toss and bowl first are likely to get slight advantage. The slower nature of the pitch will also assist the spinners and power play will be very crucial. Both the teams will need to draft strategies according to the conditions and the captains might prefer chasing given the slow pitch and with both the teams having a strong bowling lineup it will be a tough contest.
India has already lost the three-match ODI series which also witnessed the comeback of India’s favourite duo – Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Even though both of them performed exceptionally well but India failed to turn the series in their favour. Hence, the five-match T20I series is the best chance for the Men in Blue to bounce back and redeem themselves.
