Greater Noida-NCR News: Potholes on Greater Noida’s roads will be filled within the next 15 days. The Greater Noida Authority has accelerated development to achieve this goal. Instructions on this have been sent to the in-charges of every work circle. Previously, the government organized a high-level review meeting to address the road issue.

Noida Development Authority in Action

An official from the Greater Noida Development Authority claims that 643 of the 928 potholes found on different roads in the Greater Noida area have been fixed. He said, “By November 15th, the remaining 285 potholes will be filled. Every work circle is working. In the current fiscal year 2025–2026, the authority also established a goal to repair 106.57 kilometers of roads. Out of this, 58.83 km of road have been repaired so far.” According to a official of the authority’s project department, the remaining 47.74 km of road will be repaired by March 20, 2026.

Extensive Repair Work Ongoing

A related tender is being issued as part of the preparations to begin the work. On other key roads, repairs are also underway. Two sections of the road—from Kasna town to Sector Ecotech-6 roundabout and from Junpat Roundabout near Depot Metro Station to Sector MU—are currently undergoing extensive repair work. Traffic will be safer and more efficient with road repairs and pothole filling.

Potholes and Service Roads

The service roads in areas like Beta-One, Two, Alpha, Gamma, etc. has also gotten worse, in addition to the main roads. Potholes have appeared in a number of locations. The service road near Aster School in Delta-Two and towards Rampur Market in Sector Beta-One is in the worst condition.

The conditions of the roads have gotten so bad that the service route needs to be fixed as well for smooth operation. There are numerous potholes in front of Migsun Society in Sectors Eta, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Swarna Nagari, as well as on the roads that lead from the Junpat roundabout to Sector MU. Many of the roads in the Greater Noida West area have potholes.
