To establish Uttar Pradesh as a capable and developed state by 2047, the campaign “Samarth Uttar Pradesh – Viksit Uttar Pradesh @2047: Samriddhi Ka Shatabdi Parv Mahabhiyan” has evolved into a historic movement of public participation. Under this campaign, nodal officers and intellectuals toured all 75 districts of the state, engaging with citizens and sharing information about Uttar Pradesh’s development journey. Discussions and suggestions were gathered from students, teachers, traders, entrepreneurs, farmers, volunteer organizations, labour unions, media representatives, and common citizens on the state’s development roadmap.

Through the government’s portal samarthuttarpradesh.up.gov.in, over 57 lakh feedback responses have been received so far, around 45 lakh from rural areas and 12 lakh from urban regions. Among the respondents, about 28 lakh are youth (below 31 years), 26 lakh are middle-aged (31–60 years), and nearly 3 lakh are senior citizens (above 60 years).

Among various sectors, around 14.4 lakh suggestions came for agriculture, 2.3 lakh for livestock and dairy, 2 lakh for industries, 1.6 lakh for IT and technology, 1.4 lakh for tourism, 11.4 lakh for rural development, 50,000 for infrastructure, 83,000 for balanced development, 4.4 lakh for social welfare, 3.9 lakh for urban development and health, 13.4 lakh for education, and over 1 lakh for security-related issues.

The districts contributing the highest feedback are Jaunpur (4.5 lakh), Sambhal (3.8 lakh), Ghazipur (2.5 lakh), Pratapgarh (1.8 lakh), and Bijnor (1.7 lakh). Districts with the lowest feedback are Etawah (20,000), Mahoba (26,000), Hapur (29,000), Gautam Buddha Nagar (29,000), and Lalitpur (30,000).

Under the campaign, interaction meetings and seminars were organized from urban local bodies to gram panchayats. These included meetings in 214 municipal councils, 227 municipal conferences/seminars, 18 municipal corporations, 63 district councils, 556 town panchayats, 577 town conferences, 751 block-level meetings and seminars, and around 50,000 gram panchayats.

These interactions have strengthened communication and coordination among local citizens, public representatives, and departmental officials. Based on the suggestions received in line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision of “Samarth Uttar Pradesh – Viksit Uttar Pradesh @2047”, the state government is preparing a Vision Document. This campaign marks a major step toward strengthening public participation and collective development.
