Addressing a massive public meeting in support of NDA candidate and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha in Lakhisarai on Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a sharp attack on the opposition, declaring that the NDA stands for good governance and development, while the RJD and Congress symbolize jungle raj and hooliganism.
Yogi Adityanath said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar has set a new benchmark in governance and development. “This election is a contest between good governance and jungle raj. Wherever the NDA governs, there is progress and law and order. But for the RJD and Congress, jungle raj and gunda raj are their family identity,” he remarked.
The Chief Minister said that under the NDA government, Bihar has witnessed remarkable growth in roads, railways, airports, and waterways over the past two decades. “Today, Bihar’s makhana, vegetables, and other local products are reaching global markets, making both farmers and traders self-reliant,” he added.
Slamming the RJD and Congress for their misrule, Yogi said, “The period from 1990 to 2005 was the darkest chapter in Bihar’s history. Dynasty politics and corruption looted development funds, leaving the poor and youth betrayed.” He asserted that the NDA restored law and order, ensured the safety of daughters, and created opportunities for the youth, pledging that the return of jungle raj will never be allowed in Bihar.
Referring to the sacred bond between Ayodhya and Sitamarhi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that while a grand temple of Lord Ram is rising in Ayodhya, a magnificent temple of Mata Janaki is being built in Sitamarhi. He added that a four-lane road connecting Ayodhya and Sitamarhi is under construction at a cost of ₹6,155 crore—something the RJD and Congress could never have achieved.
Highlighting the transformative governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Yogi said that “a new dawn has arrived in the lives of the poor.” He cited welfare measures such as free ration to 800 million people, ₹5 lakh health insurance to 500 million, toilets for 120 million homes, housing for 40 million families, electricity connections to 30 million households, and free gas connections to 120 million women under the Ujjwala Yojana—calling it a true glimpse of Ramrajya in modern India.
Launching a sharp attack on the opposition, Yogi said the people have now seen through those who once looted the state through the fodder scam, incited caste violence, and robbed the poor of their rights. “The days of lantern darkness are over,” he declared. “Today, Bihar shines in the bright, milky light of LEDs.”
