The Indian Railways is set to expand its rail network with the introduction of the new Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express. The new semi-high-speed train will run between the two major cities, enhancing connectivity and boosting tourism. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat train on November 7 and leave for Darbhanga the following day.
Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express Timings
After the Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express inauguration, the services will soon commence for the general public. The train bearing no. 26422 will depart from Varanasi at 5.25 and arrive at Khajuraho at 13:10. The return train bearing no. 26421 will depart from Khajuraho at 15.20 and reach Varanasi at 23:00.
Major Stops Of The New Express Train
The new express train will cover a distance of 443 km in 7 hours and 40 minutes. The station stops will be at Vindhyachal, Prayagraj Chheoki, Chitrakut Dham, Banda, and Mahoba.
Train To Run Six Days A Week
The 26422/26421 Varanasi-Khajuraho-Varanasi Vande Bharat will run on all days except Thursday. The train will have a total of eight coaches, including seven air-conditioned chair car coaches and an executive air-conditioned chair car coach.
