Greater Noida West News: Massive fire breaks out, burning over 50 slums to ashes in minutes


Greater Noida West Fire: A massive fire broke out in the slums near Rice Chowk in the Bisrakh police station area of Greater Noida on Friday morning. The fire spread so quickly that over 50 slums burned to ashes in only a few minutes. The incident triggered chaos throughout the area. The fire department was immediately notified. The fire was brought under control with the help of six fire engines that arrived on the scene. There was no loss of life reported.

Sound of Cylinder Burst

The fire in the slums was so intense that black smoke filled the sky. There was the sound of a cylinder bursting in the slums. Following the fire, there was a disturbance among the residents of the slums. Everyone, including children and women, was seen crying on the streets. The flames were so high that smoke could be seen from a distance. The actual cause of the fire has yet to be determined.

The police and fire services immediately responded with half a dozen vehicles after receiving information of the incident. They began attempting to extinguish the fire with every method that was possible. Locals were trying to control the fire with buckets and pipes. According to reports, household valuables and important papers kept in the slums were burnt but no injuries were reported. The fire has been mostly under control, and efforts are on to restore normalcy.
