Curbs near IGI stadium for Samay Raina comedy show – check affected roads, stadium entry gates News24 –
Delhi Traffic Advisory: Traffic movement will remain affected near the Main Area (Gym), Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, on November 8 and 9, 2025, due to comedian Samay Raina’s “Still Alive & Unfiltered” stand-up comedy show. In a comprehensive advisory issued on Friday, the Delhi Traffic Police has outlined various restrictions and diversions in and around the stadium. Residents and commuters are urged to use alternate routes and plan their journey accordingly.
Diversion And Restrictions On Need-Basis
- Diversions will be implemented on IP Marg/Vikas Marg (MGM Road).
- Heavy vehicles will be restricted from entering the roads from Rajghat to IP Marg
Affected Roads
Commuters are urged to avoid the mentioned stretches from 1 pm to 11 pm, as congestion is expected on the following roads:
- IP Marg (MGM Road)
- Vikas Marg
- Ring Road from Rajghat to IP Depot
Stadium Entry Gates
- Gate Nos. 7 and 8, located on Velodrome Road. Entry to these gates will be via Velodrome Road
- Gate Nos. 16, 18, 21, 22 & 23, located on Ring Road. Entry to these gates will be via MGM Road
Parking Guidelines And Details
- Limited parking is available only to vehicles with valid parking labels.
- Displaying the label on the windscreen with the vehicle number is mandatory.
- Vehicles without valid parking labels will be restricted near the stadium.
- Car parking label holders are advised to take the Ring Road.
- Entry to the parking lots will be from MGM Road
NOTE: No vehicles will be allowed to park on Ring Road from Rajghat to I.P. Flyover (both carriageways) on the scheduled dates.
