‘Ek Paal Mein Sabke Chithde Udd Gaye…’: Greater Noida West couple narrowly escapes death – Eyewitness describes the HORRIFIC moment of Delhi Blast

A powerful blast rocked Delhi’s busy Chandni Chowk market on Monday, triggering chaos and panic among shoppers.

Eyewitnesses said the blast took place near Gate No. 4 just as people were stepping out of their vehicles, forcing them to leave their cars and run for cover, and people started running to safety in the crowded marketplace.

An eyewitness, Puja Garg, a travel agent, said that they had gone to Chandni Chowk to buy articles. When they were coming out in their car, an explosion took place in front of them. They left their car and ran to safety.

Another eyewitness, Nitin Mittal, said that the vendors selling roasted chickpeas and kachoris were blown to pieces. “We cannot say how many people have died, but many have been killed. And when we ran inside, we saw that everyone had left their shops and was fleeing,” he said.
