‘Not a suicide attack, suspect triggered an explosion in panic, say Sources News24 –

Delhi Car Blast: Another serious claim is being made regarding the deadly blast near Delhi’s Red Fort in a slow-moving car that claimed 12 lives and left several injured. Top sources told news agency ANI, after initial findings, that the powerful explosion was not a ‘suicide attack and that the suspect triggered an explosion in panic.’

According to sources, the explosion did not create a crater, and no shrapnel or projectiles were found at the blast site. “The vehicle was still moving when the blast occurred, and the IED was not equipped to cause heavy casualties.”

Due to the ongoing operations and raids by security agencies across multiple locations in Delhi-NCR and Pulwama, seizing substantial quantities of explosives, it is believed that the suspect acted hastily under mounting pressure. “The suspect did not follow the usual pattern of a suicide car bombing; he neither rammed the car into a target nor collided intentionally. A major attack has been averted, credited to pan-India alertness and coordinated crackdown on suspect modules,” sources revealed.

Amit Shah Orders Hunt For All Culprits

Earlier on Tuesday evening, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday held a review meeting on the Delhi car blast. He asked the security and probe agencies to hunt down every culprit behind this incident. In a post on X, Shah said, “Chaired review meetings on the Delhi car blast with the senior officials. Instructed them to hunt down each and every culprit behind this incident. Everyone involved in this act will face the full wrath of our agencies.”
