Most Secret app Used by Delhi Blast Accused to Communicate With Handlers in Turkey — No Number Needed.. Here’s What We Know So Far! News24 –

Delhi Car Blast: A major revelation has emerged in the investigation of the Faridabad–Saharanpur module of the terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). Intelligence sources revealed that the two accused doctors, Dr Muzammil and Dr Umar, used a secret messaging app called “Session” to communicate with their handlers in Turkey. Unlike conventional messaging apps, Session is known for its extreme privacy and end-to-end encryption, making surveillance nearly impossible. But what exactly is this app, and how does it operate so secretly?

What is Session app?

Unlike conventional apps, Session does not require a mobile number for registration and claims that it does not store chat metadata. This makes investigators impossible to trace messages or identify users. Though it requires the internet, the app hides the user’s real location by sending messages through several servers instead of directly. This makes it hard to trace where the message is coming from and keeps the user’s identity more private.

Session Features

  • No Phone Number Needed – You don’t have to register with a phone number or email. Instead, you get a unique Session ID to chat.
  • End-to-End Encryption – All messages, calls, and files are encrypted so that only the sender and receiver can read them.
  • No Central Server – Session uses a decentralised network of servers (called the Oxen Service Node network), meaning data isn’t stored in one place, making tracking difficult.
  • No Metadata Storage – Unlike WhatsApp or Telegram, Session doesn’t store user data like message times, locations, or contacts.
  • Tor-like Routing – It routes messages through multiple nodes, similar to the Tor network, to hide users’ IP addresses and locations.
  • Because of these features, Session is often seen as one of the most anonymous messaging platforms available
