Nitish Kumar, ‘Salman Khan’ of Bihar? Bollywood-style poster named ‘Tiger Zinda Hain’ appears outside JD(U) office ahead of counting day News24 –

With merely one day to go before the crucial Bihar assembly elections 2025 results, posters featuring Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with the caption ‘Tiger abhi zinda hai’ appeared in Patna. The Bollywood-style poster, outside the Janata Dal (United) party office, was put out by Former Bihar minister and JD(U) leader Ranjit Sinha.

The posters described the party supremo as “Protector of Dalits, Mahadalits, backward classes, upper castes, and minorities — Tiger abhi zinda hai (the tiger is still alive).” The development comes after the exit poll results on November 11 declared a landslide victory for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The slogans and the posters reflect the party workers’ desire to witness Kumar take oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the fourth time.

Bihar Assembly Elections 2025

The Bihar assembly elections were conducted in two phases. The first phase of the state polls concluded on November 6, 2025, with a voter turnout of 64.66%, while the second phase witnessed a turnout of 66.9%. Most of the exit polls predicted the coalition to return to power, with the NDA crossing the majority mark.

The verdict of the closely-watched contest between the BJP–JD(U)-led NDA and the RJD-Congress-led Mahagathbandhan will decide whether CM Nitish Kumar will retain power or Tejashwi Yadav’s alliance will emerge victorious. With the counting of votes scheduled to be held on November 14, 2025, political leaders have left no stone unturned to touch every chord of Bihar’s electorate through intense campaigning.
