Bihar Chunav Result 2025: Tight Security and Transperancy

To guarantee efficiency, security, and transparency, the Election Commission has released detailed guidelines. The Commission states that postal ballots will be counted in front of the candidates or their authorized agents, as well as the appropriate Returning Officer or Assistant Returning Officer. All 243 of Bihar’s assembly constituencies will have their votes counted. For every constituency, a Returning Officer and a Counting Observer will be assigned.

The corresponding RO will compile the election results both assembly-wise and round-wise and upload them to the Election Commission’s official results portal. Each control unit will be brought to the table and shown to the agents during the EVM vote counting process so they can verify that its seal and serial number match the information on it. The VVPAT slips for a booth will be required to be recounted if there is a disparity in the number of votes or records at that booth. Each table has a microobserver, a counting assistant, and a counting supervisor.

Candidates have appointed over 18,000 counting agents to ensure transparency and fairness during the process. After the EVM count, five polling stations will be randomly selected in each assembly constituency to match VVPAT slips to EVM results. This will be done in front of candidates and their representatives. The Bihar Assembly election was held in two phases, on November 6 and 11. Bihar’s voting records were broken, with both phases registering a combined turnout of 67.13%. In Bihar, women set yet another record with 71.78 percent of voters, compared to 62.98 percent of male voters. The ECI has not asked for re-polling at any of the 90,740 booths in Bihar because no inconsistency or malpractice has been identified.

Bihar Vidhan Sabha Chunav Result 2025: Exit Poll Result

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is expected to do well in the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, according to several exit polls. However, the INDIA bloc’s confidence was unaffected by the exit polls. NDA supporters who have already begun to celebrate a possible victory based on the exit poll results have been rejected by the MGB parties. Jan Suraaj Party leader Prashant Kishor called the exit polls “fake” and said he believed that Bihar is heading towards a change drastically.

All eyes are now on Friday, November 14, the day the votes will be counted, as Bihar awaits the results of its crucial 2025 Assembly elections. The crucial question still stands: will the RJD-Congress-backed Mahagathbandhan end Nitish Kumar’s long-running tenure as chief minister, or will the BJP–JD(U)-led NDA win another term?
