New Zealand have announced their 15 member squad for the T20 World Cup of 2026. This event will begin from February 7 and will be staged held in India and Sri Lanka. Although fitness worries were raised, the squad has been finalized, and five members are recuperating from injuries, and they will be ready to perform at the global event, according to New Zealand Cricket. Their captain, Mitchell Santner, is suffering from a fitness problem.

Finn Allen (finger and hamstring), Mark Chapman (ankle), Santner (adductor), along with Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry, the two fast bowlers, are presently ruled out. But NZC revealed that all the players are following a personalized rehabilitation program and that they would be fully fit before the tournament commences.

Both Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry have been granted special leaves and given special consideration in the form of paternity leave. The duo might miss small portion of the tournament depending on their personal situation. Apart from that Tim Robinson has been left out of the squad despite delivering match winning performances.
