What is I-PAC?

I-PAC is known to provide political consultancy services to the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal. Shortly after the raid, the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee rushed to I-PAC founder Prateek Jain’s residence. While leaving the premises with a green-coloured file, she launched a scathing attack on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing it of misusing central probe agencies to target TMC. ED’s operation comes at a time when heightened political tension is ongoing in West Bengal due to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls.

What does I-PAC stand for…

I-PAC stands for Indian Political Action Committee. It is India’s leading political consultancy firm, driving the biggest election campaigns. Prateek Jain had been providing services since the 2021 assembly elections.

Mamata Banerjee slams ED, Amit Shah over I-PAC raid

Launching a scathing attack on Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the ED, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said, “Is it the duty of the ED, Amit Shah, to collect the party’s hard disk, candidate list? The nasty, naughty Home Minister who cannot protect the country and is taking away all my party documents. What will be the result if I raid the BJP party office? On one side, they are deleting the names of all the voters by carrying out the SIR in West Bengal…Because of the elections, they are collecting all the information about my party.” She arrived at the IPAC office along with CP Manoj Verma shortly after the raid began.

Who Is Pratik Jain?

Pratik Jain is the Co-founder and Director of I-PAC (Indian Political Action Committee). An alumnus of IIT Bombay, Jain is known for working behind the scenes on election strategy, data analysis, and governance outreach programmes.
