When and Where to Watch Vaibhav Suryavanshi in Action

IND U-19 vs Bangladesh U-19 Live Streaming: Five-time champions India began their campaign in convincing fashion, registering a comfortable six-wicket win over the USA in a rain-affected match. The bowlers laid the platform by skittling the opposition for a modest 107, with right-arm pacer Henil Patel producing a standout spell of 5/16 from seven overs, well supported by the rest of the attack.

India’s star-studded batting unit will be keen for more time in the middle against Bangladesh, who are expected to provide a sterner test for the Ayush Mhatre-led side after also cruising to a win against the USA.

The opening pair of skipper Ayush Mhatre and the impressive 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi will once again set the tone, followed by vice-captain Vihaan Malhotra. The middle order will be bolstered by all-rounders Aaron George and Vedant Trivedi, while wicketkeeper Abhigyan Kundu adds further depth.

On the bowling front, India have plenty of pace options in D. Deepesh, RS Ambrish, Henil Patel, Kishan Kumar Singh and Udhav Mohan. The spin department will be handled by Kanishk Chouhan, Khilan Patel and Mohamed Enaan, giving the side a well-rounded attack.

With five titles from 16 editions, India remain the most successful team in the history of the tournament, which began in 1988 with Australia lifting the inaugural trophy.

India’s confidence is further boosted by their impressive form over the past year, having won youth series in England, Australia and South Africa. The win over the USA marked their 14th victory in the last 17 matches, and the team will be eager to extend that strong run against Bangladesh.

Bangladesh, meanwhile, will rely heavily on the leadership of captain Azizul Hakim, who brings valuable experience into the tournament being co-hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Hakim, along with his deputy Zawad Abrar, will lead the Bangladesh batting line-up. The pair have been prolific at the Under-19 level, scoring over 1,000 runs in Youth ODIs since the previous edition of the World Cup in 2024. Kalam Siddiki, with 857 runs during the same period, is another key batter to watch.

Bangladesh also boast a formidable bowling attack, particularly in seam-friendly conditions. Pacers Iqbal Hossain and Al Fahad are expected to play major roles, having emerged as the most successful bowlers since the last U19 World Cup with 45 and 43 wickets respectively. Left-arm spinner Samiun Basir adds variety, with 29 wickets at an impressive economy rate of under four.
