In the video shared by Hip-Hop Motor Bus on Instagram, the whole team is standing in the ground after the match and suddenly Kohli noticed people chanting slogans and booing Gambhir. Kohli was shocked to see the amount of hate people were throwing at Gambhir after India lost the series.

Virat Kohli’s Magnificent Century In 3rd ODI

In the third ODI against New Zealand, India were chasing a huge target of 338 but since the very start the Men in Blue faced a batting collapse. Both Rohit Sharma (11) and Shubman Gill (23) were out early following which Kohli came to bat. As soon as Virat stepped in, he anchored the innings and scored a magnificent century. His knock ended at the score of 124, he tried to keep control of the innings from one end but no partnership was formed from the other side. Harshit Rana and Nitish Reddy smashed half-centuries but their effort also went in vain as India lost by a huge margin of 41 runs.

India’s Struggling Phase

This is the second time in less than two years where New Zealand has over powered India. First it was the home Test series defeat at home in 2024 and now ODI series defeat in 2026. Before this India had also lost the two-match Test series against South Africa at home – another setback which brought in huge criticism for Gautam Gambhir.
