Abhishek Sharma has made history. He has become the first batter in the world to score 50 or more runs in a T20 International in 25 balls or fewer more times than anyone else. Earlier, the record was held by Phil Salt, Suryakumar Yadav, and Evin Lewis, who had each scored 50+ seven times in 25 balls or fewer. In the first T20 against New Zealand, Abhishek reached his half-century in just 22 balls, setting a new world record. As of now, he has scored 50+ in 25 balls or fewer a total of eight times in T20I cricket.
