The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is making waves in the Indian market with its impressive safety ratings. The car secured a perfect 5-star rating for adult occupant safety and a solid 4-star score for child occupant safety, by Global NCAP. Maruti Suzuki’s new Dzire makes history with a perfect 5-star Global NCAP rating, a first for the automaker.
Global NCAP’s crash test protocols evaluate vehicles on frontal and side impact protection, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and additional criteria for top-rated models, including pedestrian protection and side pole impact assessments. The new Dzire comes equipped with impressive standard safety features, including six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and pedestrian protection.
Maruti Suzuki proactively submitted the new Dzire for voluntary crash testing to Global NCAP, said Global NCAP.
What We Know About New Maruti Dzire?
The new Dzire carry an entirely new front-end design, bearing no similarity to the latest Swift introduced earlier this year. This compact sedan features a prominent grille at the front, accompanied by sleek rectangular LED headlamps. The new Dzire also have sleek fog lamps, glossy black trim, and chrome accents.
The new Dzire’s rear features sleek Y-shaped LED tail lamps, connected by a stylish chrome strip. The rear design of the car includes a boot-lid with a raised spoiler-style element, paired with curvy elements on the bumper. The car feature an analogue instrument cluster paired with a 4.2-inch digital multi-information display (MID). According to media reports, the new Dzire could get ADAS features, likely in higher trims.
The new Dzire will also boast a 9-inch floating touchscreen display, cruise control and a segment-first electric sunroof.
