The Xpulse 200 4v was a instant hit in the Indian market, adventure enthusiasts welcomed the bike with open arms. Following the same recipe for success Hero has launched the new Xpulse 210cc. The bike would have a revised styling along with a new engine that has already been seen on the Karizma ZMR. The 210 cc engine is expected to provide a power output of around 24.6 bhp, along with 20.7 NM of peak torque.

The engine has been mated to a 6 speed sequential gear box. To be able to manage its off-road duties the bike would have Telescopic Front Forks with 210mm travel, and the rear set up of the vehicle would be a monoshock suspension.

New Features Of The Xpulse 210

Hero’s launch of the new Xpulse 210 India has given the adventure tourer segment another significant competitor. The successor to 200 4v has been recipient of such changes that would allow it to fare better with the off road riding it would be subjected to.

Connectivity

Beyond the cosmetic changes the bike would now have a fully digital instrument cluster that would allow you to connect to your smart phone as well. The bike would also get new ride modes as well as different ABS modes as well.

Suspension Upgrades

The bike would now get telescopic front forks and a mono shock at the rear. Beyond that the bike would have a 21 inch front and a18 inch rear wheel tubed tires.

Comparison

The only bike that comes close to the Xpulse for comparison would be the Royal Enfield Scram. Although the scram is much more expensive and has a much bigger engine there is no similar bike as that of the Xpulse in the 200 cc range. The Scram is powered by a 443 cc engine that produces about 25.4 bhp along with a peak torque of around 34 nm @4000 rpm. The Bike is a bit more expensive than the Xpulse at 2.08 lakh Rs to 2.15 lakh Rs.
